Fridays Feast 5.

Friday Feast Five

Posted: 10 Jan 2008 11:00 PM CST

Are you hungry?

Appetizer.
Briefly describe your living room.

Pale blue walls, dark blue carpet, usually toys all over the floor, desktop pc and huge sofa and tv.

Soup.
List 3 things you’d like to accomplish before the end of 200[8].

1) Put on weight.
2) Be more patient with my son.
3 Move house

Salad.
When you’re online, what do you spend the most time reading/playing/doing?
Suggest a site for us to visit.

I spend most of my time reading blogs and my e-mails.
My favourite site would be TIBU (http://www.thisisby.us.com)

Main Course.
What would the title of your autobiography be?

The Good, The Bad And The Mischief.

Dessert.
What time do you usually go to bed?

Usually past midnight, mainly because I need time on my own after my son goes to sleep and tidying up his mess takes ages so I end up not sitting down and relaxing until gone 10pm.10pm. Yeah, very unexciting.

Number 4.

Appetizer.
What kind of car do you drive?
If you could make an even trade for any other car, what would you want to drive?
I've chosen not to drive because I'm a diabetic and don't always get warning signs before a low sugar level attack. The possibility of killing someone just so I can drive isn't worth it.
If I did drive I'd settle for something small, cheap to run and reliable, I'm not that interested in cars and don't see them as a status symbol just a way to get from A to B.
Soup.
Take your phone number and add each number together separately.
33 or 6 depends if I add the two number 3's together or not.
Salad.
When were you last outside, and what were you doing?
Today was my husbands day off so we went to the shops so I could buy a new handbag with the last of my Christmas money.
Main Course.
What is your favorite restaurant, and what do you usually order there?
I like the Carvery style restaurants usually in a pub as they are welcoming to those with small kids. I have the traditional roast but rarely eat any of the meat but loads of the vegetables. I don't know why but they taste so much nicer than usual.
Dessert.
Name 3 things in which you occasionally indulge.
1) A soppy, romantic film.
2) An afternoon where I'm not cold.
3) A day with a little pain.

Friday's Feast (belated).

Here's my belated menu for this weeks the feast!

Appetizer.
What is your middle name?
Would you change any of your names if you could?
If so, what would you like to be called?
My middle name is Jane which is pretty common. Most Amanda's have the middle name Jane.
I wouldn't change my names as they were given to me by my mum and I'm happy to be known by the name she chose although I'd think different if she'd called me something foul like Ermintrude.
Soup.
If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most?
I'm always cold, I shiver when others are prancing around in t-shirts and skimpy shorts so I'd use thick wool or fleece. Jumpers and sweaters are usually horribly twee with cute little doggies and stuff so I'd like to make more grown up styles in every colour because we all have our own favourite colours and if you're like me the colour you want to wear changes with your mood.
Salad.
What is your least favorite chore, and why?
I hate washing the dishes because it makes my psoriasis flare up and I can't stand all the little bits of food floating in the water.
Main Course.
What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?
I'm scared of spiders and being buried alive like in a coffin and waking up and no=one hearing me scream. Obviously this has never happened to me but it's not totally unheard of and that is really frightening.
Dessert.
Where are you sitting right now?
Name 3 things you can see at this moment.
I'm sitting on the sofa and I can see:
(1) The tv - watching Smokey and the bandit.
(2) The Calor fire (directly opposite).
(3) The cat sleeping in front of the fire.

Fiday's Feast 2.

Appetizer.
Where do you plan to go on vacation this year, or where would you want to go?
I'd like to take my son on his first holiday abroad, somewhere near like Spain or Greece so he can experience and see other cultures and a real beach with sun, sea and sand.

Soup.
What color is your bedroom? If you could redecorate it, what would you change?
Pale lilacy blue with silver decor on the walls. I'd like to fill it with playboy stuff ie decor and bedding. Not playboy bunnies who are living and breathing experts on looking sexy and have no stretchmarks or tummys.

Salad.
Do you have a bumper sticker on your vehicle? If not, make one up!
Blue t-shirt that says trouble on board hanging in the rear windscreen.

Main Course.
What’s the worst pain you’ve ever been in?
Just before I was put into a hospital induced coma to save my life because of my soon to be ex husband.
It could also be the first time my son said "I hate you" even though he's only 4 and it's to be expected it still hurt and does to this day.

Dessert.
Who is your favorite celebrity? What do they do that inspires you?
No-one really there's a lot of actors I admire but no "celebrity" really. If I had to choose though it would be either Holly from the Playboy mansion cos she seems so nice a person and seems to care for Hugh Hefner rather than just his money or Jennifer Aniston. Jen seems like a really nice girl too more "real" than all those others like Paris or Britney.

Friday's Feast

December 14th, 2007 Category: The Feasts, 2007

Appetizer. Make up a word and give us its definition.
My four year old and I use the word "Huggle-buggle" to mean an extra big cuddle. I love the word, I think it describes a big hug perfectly.

Soup. What is currently your favorite song?
I love Lonely this Christmas by Mud. Some people thinks it's quite sad or depressing but it reminds me how lucky I am.

Salad. What’s at the top of your Christmas wish list this year?
I want a dog, well a medium or small sized puppy but it's not going to happen sadly so I'll settle for a pair of skinny jeans in my size and height.

Main Course. Name a scent that reminds you of someone special in your life.
New West reminds me of mum when I was old enough to relate to her as a friend as well as a mum. Opium reminds me of mum when I was a child.
Dessert. Who is someone on television that you feel probably shouldn’t be, and why?
I don't think Kate Moss should be on any media at all because she is a drug addicted alcohol guzzler who parties more than Paris or Britney and rarely bothers to see her own daughter.
She is paraded as a supermodel and seen enough to be a role model to young teens and she is not what I would want a daughter of mine aiming to be like.
