Tuesday's Trials & Tribulations #3

Today's T & T is something that seems to be installed in everybody the instant they get their driving licences, not having passed my test I can see this in every driver who has ever driven me anywhere. I think that when you are given your licence it is coated in this non detectable substance that installs this (extremely irritating) trait into your subconscious no matter what the age, gender, religion or intelligence of the new driver. What is this all-encompassing trait ? (I know you're wondering if you have it, if you drive then you do, trust me). This trait is the total inability to realise / understand that waiting behind 4 or 5 other cars in a queue for 5 or 10 minutes is NOT the end of the world, life will still be worth living if you have to wait in a queue for a couple of minutes. Drivers would rather drive for 30 minutes to avoid sitting in that queue for a couple of minutes. "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE ?"

Can you tell what the above photo is ? no ? well believe it or not it's a series of roundabouts set into a big, mega roundabout. Some drivers have actually ran out of fuel trying to figure out how to get out of it. What on earth possessed someone to think that this was a solution to any traffic problem that has or will exist? The worst thing is that there are crashes & smashes galore in this as drivers become disorientated or take a chance as they have no idea how to extricate themselves. Even learner drivers aren't exempt from this nonsensical lunacy as you have to successfully navigate this in order to pass your test. Have another look and thank your lucky stars you don't live & drive in the city of Swindon.

Oh my goodness! We've managed to find our way through normal roundabouts when visiting in England, but this one would be a real trial!
